Purchasing products at BRAAP.® doesn’t mean you just get some products from a cheap-ass labored country where workers are treated as slaves or where youngsters have to work their asses off in (illegal) sweatshops. We simply pass for that.
Next to attention to the workers, we are very keen on selecting the right, sustainable materials and processes from suppliers involved in the process.
Unlike other, big corporates, we don’t point our fingers to our suppliers or to so-called ethic codes and fancy certificates. We simply take a good look at who we are dealing with, how processes work out, who’s involved etc. If we don’t like what we see, we don’t do business.
Another goal is to only work with local manufacturers to get more grip and control on the whole manufacturing process.
